XGUARD / PRACTICAL RESOURCES

Prepare your construction security brief.

A useful security request describes the work to be done, not just a number of guards. Use this checklist to organize the information a provider needs. Mark what you have prepared, then download a brief you can complete privately and share with your chosen provider.

Your preparation checklist

Each checked item means the information is ready to discuss. This is not a security audit or a compliance score.

FREE PLANNING TEMPLATE

Keep your working brief.

The template is generated in your browser. This tool does not submit or save your selections. No contact details are required.

Presence, visits and monitoring are not interchangeable.

On-site presence

Specify the positions and hours that require a person on site. Agree on access-control instructions and how exceptions are handled.

Patrol visits

Agree on the purpose and scope of visits. Patrols do not provide continuous presence between visits; ask how each visit is documented.

Remote monitoring

Discuss the equipment, connection, monitoring hours and response procedure. Monitoring and a physical response are separate responsibilities to clarify.

Compare the same scope, not only the hourly rate.

Ask each provider to state coverage hours, responsibilities, reporting and any additional charges using the same assumptions. Ask for relevant references and the authorizations applicable to the proposed work. This tool does not determine guard numbers, legal requirements, insurance coverage or a suitable security deployment.
